 Good News, 4 Patients in Denpasar Recovered From COVID-19

As of Tuesday, April 28, the number of patients recovering from Covid-19 in Denpasar has been increased by 4. With details, 2 people from Pemogan Village, 1 from Penatih Village and the rest from Kertalangu Kesiman Village.

Thus, a total of 21 positive patients have been confirmed recovered in Denpasar city. “We appreciate all parties, especially medical staff who are relentless in working on the front lines,” said Spokesperson for Covid 19 Task Force in Denpasar city, Dewa Gede Rai, in the Press Room of the Denpasar Mayor’s Office.

According to him the number of recovered Covid-19 patiens continues to increase. This is a good news and can give a sense of encouragement and optimism to patients who were still in the hospital. “Hopefully in the future the recovery of patients continues to increase, so that the Covid-19 pandemic case can end soon,” he hoped.

However, for the number of patients with Covid-19, there were the addition of 2 new cases, bringing the total to 52 cases in Denpasar. He further said that 2 new cases were imported cases. All were Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) who had just returned from the infected country. It is known that 1 Covid-19 positive migrant worker from South Denpasar was a 28-year-old male and the other one from East Denpasar, a 24-year-old female. Both of them have been taken to Sanglah Hospital for treatment and isolation.

Of the 52 positive cases in Denpasar, it was still dominated by imported cases both from infected countries and regions, namely 37 cases and 15 others were local transmissions. “By seeing this data, new cases are still happening, and to prevent further transmission, all parties and the entire community must continue to increase their vigilance and discipline complying the government’s call for implementing health protocols,” Dewa Rai said.
