 42-Thousand Domestic Tourists Have Vacation To Bali During The Long Holidays

During the long holidays, quite a lot of domestic tourists come for a vacation to Bali. During the week since October 25, the number of visits was recorded at more than 42 thousand domestic tourists. Of course this is a breath of fresh air to revive tourism in Bali which has been vacuum since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. As a result, the condition of Ngurah Rai Airport, which had been deserted for more than 7 months, is now starting to revive.

When confirmed, the Communication and Legal Manager of Angkasa Pura I at Ngurah Rai Airport, Andanina Dyah Permata Megasari, revealed that the increase in the number of domestic passengers through Ngurah Rai Airport has indeed been seen since October 25. The number of increases, he said, peaked on October 28 with a total of 9,539 passengers. However, he continued, on October 31 the number of arrivals began to gradually normalize.

“If the total is from October 25-31, there are 42,468 passengers coming to Bali via Ngurah Rai Airport. The majority of the passengers who come to Bali come from Great Jakarta, Surabaya and Makassar,” he said, Sunday (November 1).

He said, long holidays make the number of arrivals more dominant than departures. For total arrivals reaching 42,468 passengers and departures reaching 32,050 passengers from October 25-31.

“During this long holiday we are increasing the supervision of the implementation of the health program, because the increase in passenger movement is quite high, such as the application of physical distancing, the use of proper masks, there is a quick response team that continues to monitor. During holidays we also increase the spraying of disinfectants to 4 hours a day,” he explained. (MBP1)
