83 Traders, Managers, and Parking Attendants At Ubung Traditional Market Took Rapid Test, the Results are All Non-Reactive

In an effort to prepare all things for entering a period of adaptation to new habits, the Denpasar City Government continues to carry out health procedures according to standards, especially in the market so that all traders are free from Covid-19. To support this, an initial screening was conducted through the Rapid Test at the Ubung Traditional Market on Saturday (June 20).
“This is the early screening to support the adaptation of new habits, and the market can be the epicenter of new transmissions, so we must increase our vigilance, one of which is by early detection through rapid tests,” said Head of Kelurahan Ubung, I Wayan Ariyanta, in the sidelines of his activities.
He further explained that this rapid test was in collaboration of Kelurahan Ubung, Customary Village and Denpasar City Government through the North Denpasar Health Center II. In addition, this is also an initial screning as an effort to prepare business security to support the adoption of new habits. So that the health conditions of managers, traders, parking attendants and other elements in the market can be monitored regularly.
“This will become a procedure, and screening will be carried out periodically, so that the condition of all elements in the market can be detected, so that the market as a driving force for people’s economy remains rotating and safe from Covid-19,” he explained.
Ariyanta explained that the implementation of the rapid test at the Ubung Traditional Market was divided into two stages. The first stage was held today on Saturday (June 20) participated by 83 people consisting of Traders, Market Managers, Parking Attendants and other market elements. As for the implementation of the first stage, all were declared non-reactive. While the second stage will be held on Monday (June 22).
“The results for first stage are all non-reactive, hopefully it can be maintained forever, and again we emphasize to all parties, including traders, managers, parking attendants, as well as other elements including buyers and the public must adhere the Public Health Protocol at all times with discipline and responsibility. So that it can sustainably prevent the spread and transmission of Covid-19. So trade with the public health protocol is safe,” Arianta warned. (MBP)
