The number of tourists who come to Bali via air, land and sea transportation, from December 17, 2020 to January 3, 2021, has reached 366,666 people.

According to the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, while in Bali, these tourists generally adhere to health protocols in an orderly and disciplined manner. It is in accordance with the Circular of the Governor of Bali Number 2021 of 2020, namely following the PCR-based swab test for travelers using air transportation and rapid antigen test for travelers using land and sea transportation.

“Tourism business services, in general, have adhered to health protocols in an orderly and disciplined manner. So that until now, there has been no significant increase in positive cases of Covid-19,” said Governor Koster when giving a press statement, accompanied by the Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office, dr. Ketut Suarjaya, and Head of the Bali Provincial Transportation Agency, I Gde Wayan Samsi Gunartha regarding the handling of Covid-19 in the island, Tuesday (January 5) at Gedung Gajah, Jayasabha, Denpasar.

For the achievement of this good performance, representing the Provincial Government of Bali and the people of Bali, he expressed his appreciation and thanks the Balinese people and those who have been willing to make real sacrifices by participating and working together for Bali.

“Furthermore, I appeal to all parties and the people of Bali to continue to comply with health protocols in accordance with the policies of the Central and Local Governments in an orderly, disciplined manner and responsible and full of awareness and patience,” he said.

Furthermore, his party invites the whole community not to be influenced by calls from any party that are not in accordance with Government policy.
