As of Wednesday (May 6), the cumulative number of Covid-19 patients in Bali was 277 people. This means that there are no additions to the positive case of Covid-19 compared to the previous day.

Meanwhile, according to Bali Provincial Secretary Dewa Made Indra as the Daily Chair of the Bali Province COVID-19 Task Force, there were an addition of 6 Indonesian citizens who recovered from Covid-19, consisting of 3 Indonesia Migrant Workers (PMI) and 3 Non-PMI people. With this addition, the total number of patients recovered was 166.

For the number of patients who died, he said, there are still 4 people. Meanwhile, the number of positive patients in treatment or active cases is 107 people in 10 hospitals, and are quarantined in Bapelkesmas, BPK Pering and Wisma Bima.

He further said that the number of positive cases in Bali was still largely dominated by imported cases, for local transmission was 101 people. This means that there are still people who do not comply or make efforts to prevent COVID-19, such as the use of masks, washing hands, physical distancing and others. For that, once again, in suppressing the case of local transmission, the community must be aware and disciplined in making efforts to prevent this virus.
