Four days in a row, Denpasar again no new confirmed cases on Monday (May 11). In fact, according to the Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Task Force in Denpasar, Dewa Gede Rai, this good news was also accompanied by the recovery of 1 patient, who was domiciled in the Kelurahan Penatih.
According to Dewa Rai, cumulatively, up to today there have been 57 people tested positive for Covid-19. The details are 47 people were confirmed recovered, 2 people died, and 8 people were still being treated.
Dewa Rai added that from the results of tracking from the surveillance team, until now in Denpasar city there was also no addition to the status of people without symptoms (OTG) and people in monitoring (ODP). While the new status of patients under surveillance (PDP) increased by 12 people. So accumulatively, there have been 339 cases of OTG, 264 ODP and 38 PDP.
“Even though in the last 4 days in Denpasar there were no new positive cases, and patient’s recovery rate increasing, this should not make people complacent, but must remain vigilant and disciplined to comply the government’s call, reduce activities outside the home, must wear a mask and always maintain physical health so that the body’s immune system is maintained, “he warned.
Even though the covid case is starting to slowdown, Denpasar City Government, according to Dewa Rai, continues to increase vigilance and will immediately implement the Mayor Regulation on Public Activities Restrictions (PKM). “We must continue to increase vigilance because the mobility and activities of the community are still high. It is better we tighten up for a while, so that it is completely free of the covid-19 case, because we do not want any second wave of virus attacks, which will make things even more difficult,” said Dewa Rai.
