Bali Clean Energy, Jembrana Will Be Developed Into An Industrial Hub

Jembrana Regency will be developed into an industrial hub, the industry that supports the implementation of clean energy, which includes a battery-based electric motor. According to Bali Governor Wayan Koster, for the location of the assembly will be built in Jembrana, so that the electric motor is not only used locally in Bali, but we can also distribute it to other areas.
“The industry is very important to be built in Bali, because Bali is the only province that has gubernatorial regulation on the use of electric vehicles,” said Koster accompanied by the Regional Secretary of the Bali Province Dewa Made Indra when conveying official information related to Regional Regulation No.3 of 2020 concerning Amendments to Local Regulation No.16 of 2009 concerning the RTRW (Regional Spatial Plan) of the Bali Province in 2009-2029, at the Gajah Building, Governor’s Office, Jaya Sabha Denpasar, on Friday (May 29).
Regarding Bali Clean Energy, Koster added further that, there are regulations that have been responded positively by the Ministry of Human Resources, PLN (state-owned electricity company) and Pertamina (state-owned oil and gas company). In this case, it will use solar panels in homes, offices and tourism facilities. For this reason, the industrial development will be built in Bali, and the production of solar panels will be built in Jembrana. “It means that it will create new jobs and contribute to increasing regional income,” he believes.
