After 18 Traders Tested Positive For Covid-19, The Kumbasari Night Market Is Temporarily Closed

After the results of the Kumbasari Market traders swab test have been released, the local night market will be temporarily closed starting Wednesday (June 10) until June 15, 2020. Meanwhile, car-based traders are still given open because the location is far from the location of the COVID-19 positive traders.
According to Director of Denpasar Sewakadharma Market Regional Public Company (Perumda) I.B. Kompyang Wiranata the temporary closure was carried out due to the results of the swab test for 43 traders, 18 of them tested positive for Covid-19. He said the test results came out on Tuesday night (June 9). “Of the 43 traders who underwent swab tests, 18 of them tested positive,” he explained when confirmed.
He further said that related to 18 positive traders, his party has conducted tracing in the Kumbasari Market and checked people who had contact with these 18 traders. “We will explore and we will take swab again. If the next swab results are negative, on June 16, traders can reopen their businesses,” he said.
According to him, traders other than 18 traders who tested positive will be allowed to sell again. Meanwhile, the 18 COVID-19 positive traders, no. “For the positive, no, they cannot sell for 14 days,” he explained.
