Taking A Rapid Test, 7 of 186 Kumbasari Market Traders Are Reactive

After conducting a swab test on 33 traders in the Denpasar Kumbasari Market, the Denpasar City Task Force for Accelerating The Handling of COVID-19 again conducted rapid tests on 186 traders on Saturday (June 13). This initial screening and mass tests were conducted to detect Covid-19 cases early after the presence of traders who tested positive for Covid-19.
Director of Sewakadarma Market Regional Company of Denpasar City, I.B Kompyang Wiranata said that the Rapid Test is planned to be carried out on 200 traders. However, as many as 14 Kumbasari Market traders were absent. In addition to traders, several employees at the Kumbasari Market also underwent a rapid test. “Today, 200 rapid test tools are being prepared quickly, but only 186 people are coming. Later we will get back the data of those who have not yet participated,” he said.
Of the 186 traders who participated in the rapid test, 7 traders were known to be reactive. Meanwhile, 179 others were declared non-reactive. “The 7 people have immediately taken a swab test. The results are at least 3 more days release,” Kompyang said.
He targets, this test can be completed this Monday (June 15), so that the Kumbasari Market Night Market can be reopened immediately. Kompyang added that at the moment, the location, where traders tested positive for Covid-19, would be temporarily closed for 14 days. Meanwhile, traders next to a radius of 5 meters will be temporarily closed until the results of the swab come out. (MBP1)
