After being declared free, the Australian foreign national, Sara Connor, was finally flown to her country by taking a Garuda Indonesia flight GA 407, Friday (July 17). From the monitoring of the baliprawara.com coverage team, at 07:35 local time, Sara Connor left the Class I Immigration Office for Special Tpi Ngurah Rai, Jimbaran.

Accompanied by immigration officers, Sara was then brought into a silver Minibus car, with the vehicle number DK 1163 KU. When getting into the car, Sara is seen wearing a mask and trying to cover her head with a cloth to avoid the media crew’s camera waiting for her from morning. Then Sara Connor headed for I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport for the next trip to Australia.

Sara Connor’s lawyer, Edward Pangkahila, when met at the airport, said that the immigration office took Sara early in the morning, because perhaps having thier own considerations. Whereas the plane that will carry Sara Connor is scheduled at 12.00 West Indonesia Time with an Indonesian Garuda flight to Jakarta. Furthermore, using a Malaysian Airline flight to Kuala Lumpur then from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney. “Maybe the immigration office has its own considerations, even though the plane departs at 12.00 pm,” said Edward.

Edward added that Sara’s current condition is very good. Even the Covid-19 rapid test conducted showed non-reactive results. “Sara is very happy and in good health, she is very happy because she will meet and gather again with her family in Australia,” Edward said.

As it is known, Sara Connor was detained in Bali for being involved in the murder of police officer Aipda Wayan Sudarsa on Kuta Beach, Badung, Bali on August 17, 2016 ago. And finally sentenced to 4 years in prison by the judges of the Denpasar District Court on Monday (March 13, 2017). Sara Connor was released after receiving a remission for a total of 13 months 10 days, so the release date which should have been August 20, 2021 became July 16, 2020. (MBP5)
