The global impact of the pandemic is in full swing where the break-down of the world’s economy effected everyone from all walks of life. People’s sufferings are on everyone’s mind, life & reality, everywhere, and the calling for help for humanity has never been more urgently needed. Working in Bali – Alisia Auns, Founder of Jungle Bee Charity has decided to help providing food for the locals, effected by the pandemic.
With a beautiful sunset in the Uluwatu area of Bali and music from a disc jockey, a charity event for humanity entitled “Island Vibes Part # 1” – Pop Up Party was held at LaBomie Uluwatu, a restaurant directly facing the open sea in Uluwatu, Thursday (August 13) afternoon.
Alisia Auns from Jungle Bee and Diana Rosa (The Voice Indonesia 2016), who are also members of Jungle Bee, explained that the activity this time was in the form of Preloved Fashion Charity Bazaar,this Pre-loved Fashion Bazaar presents preloved fashion with famous brands that are sold at affordable prices.That were send and donated by the Russian community all over Bali through the previous Jungle Bee Charities. Later the sales proceeds will be donated through the Lingkar Rimba Community in Batur, Kintamani, Bangli.
“This event is a charity bazaar where people give their clothes to sell to us. What we sell starts from IDR 50 thousand, which we donate proceeds to foster children and the Lingkar Rimba Community in Batur, Kintamani, Bangli, as distributors,” explained Alisia Auns.
Alisia added that on Saturday (August 15), the charity assistance from the previous 3 events, namely the event on July 12-13, July 19 and on August 15, 2020, will be handed over to the Lingkar Rimba Community in Batur which will then be distributed to those in need. Alisia also gave a leak that on August 20 and 21 will collaborate not just with over 40 fashion brands collaborators,alo there will be an event will collaborate with speakers, influencers, community leaders and companies to create more jobs for the local people.
At this event, Indonesian products will be introduced to foreign companies, so that later they can collaborate. “The aim of this event is to provide more job opportunities to production houses in Bali in particular. Apart from that, this event is also to provide educational programs, where I provide free education to poor people, so that later they can get a job and earn their own money,” explained Alisia.
To make this event more significant by adding attention of more expatriates nationalities in Bali, Alisia invited the Japanese community affiliated with Sanur Base Bike Club with the Exhibition of the custom bikes exhibited by the entrance of the La Bomie.
Collaborating with Island Vibes #1 and Diana Rosa Music, who’s also a member of Jungle Bee Team, this event is also wildly supported by various sympathizer collaborators involving Komodo Development Group, Protagonis-Live Media Production and Immanuel Sound & Lighting.
On top of everything amazing that is Jungle Bee Charity, the artistic ensemble on the soirée was no light weight. All scheduled “star studded” collaborators such as Diana Rosa (The Voice Indonesia 2016), DJ Shammui & DJ El Papi standing firmly on stage, there were other artists in the crowd that decided to “jamm-in” pushing the entertainment to the next level.
