Apart from restoring the tourism sector, ‘We Love Bali’ is one of the campaign programs for Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE). The We Love Bali program was attended by participants from lecturers, teachers, students, civil servants, employees of private companies, employees of tourism businesses, Pokdarwis, hobby communities, photographers, and others.

We Love Bali committee, Manik Wiranata from PT Yasa Mertha Buana, hopes that this step can create awareness of safety and security among tourism players on the Island of the Gods, in carrying out activities amid the Covid-19 pandemic. “During this pandemic, awareness of cleanliness, health, security and the environment certainly also requires support from the community, academics, businessmen and the media,” said Manik Wiranata in his press release.

Manik Wiranata, who is also a tourism player, revealed that We Love Bali, which has been launched by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, is one of the tourism recovery programs, as well as education about CHSE in tourist attractions. He explained that this activity aims to provide education on the implementation of the CHSE protocol in tourist attractions and tourist villages, including monitoring the implementation of health protocols in hotels and tourist destinations visited by filling out the CHSE check list form.

“The implementation of the CHSE is very important to show that Bali as an international tourist destination is truly committed and capable of implementing health protocols,” he said.

“The We Love Bali program is to promote tourism on the island of Thousands of Temples which is now decreasing. The promotion is accompanied by visits to tourist attractions and tourist villages,” said Manik Wiranata.

Manik Wiranata explained that We Love Bali, which runs from October to November 2020, is not just a program to visit tourist destinations. However, he said, more importantly than that, this program is an implementation of the commitment to implementing health protocols in tourism. In this activity, participants get facilities in the form of accommodation for two nights at a hotel or home stay set by the committee, consumption, transportation, entrance tickets to tourist destinations, rapid test fees, and other equipment.
