Alas Kedaton Launches Its Lively Rides

Down along a path in a protected grove with its fresh air is much needed. Specifically for those who have been staying at home for several months during the pandemic. Therefore, the outdoor helps in providing the air circulation in our body like in Alas Kedaton which has a path that can be used for light exercise; jogging, cycling, or just a leisurely walk with the family.
The 12-hectare forestland of Alas Kedaton which is located in Tabanan, Bali lies 6-hectare of the protected grove and the remaining 6-hectare consists of a sacred temple, 202 souvenir shops, and food & beverage shops which, unfortunately, the last six months none of them have been open due to pandemic. And the most recent thing that can be found in the area is three rides consisting of flying fox, sky/ air bike, and Balinese traditional swing.
“Since we launched it in the early of August, the traditional swing is the most favorite by our visitors. In the ’90s, this place is well known for its traditional swing back then, thus we’d like to bring their memory back by installing it here. To try those rides, it cost you only Rp 20.000 per person. I hope the low cost can be a solution for those who cannot travel outside the island or who have a limited budget to spend the weekend.” Said I Made Sugianto, Head of Kukuh Village, Marga, Tabanan.
Whilst, the visitors also have the opportunity to see the giant bats. Despite they are wild, but the visitors are possible to interact directly with the bats but have to follow the direction from the officer.
Despite outdoor activities, the Monkey Forest which is located in Tabanan, Bali applies health protocols for its visitors. They provide a hands-free sink in reachable spots.
The monkeys are not as aggressive as elsewhere. They will not easily snatch your stuff, however, please be aware of your belongings for your own comfort and safety.
In the new era, the area which is inhabited by around 1,400 monkeys is opened to the public only on weekends and national holidays. Alas Kedaton is perfect for those who’d like to do regular social gathering (Arisan), gathering with their communities, or coworkers. (MBP14)
