 Bali Immigration Deported A Russian Citizen Who Going Into The Sea Using Motorbike

On last December 2020, social media reported that a foreigner with an Instagram account @sergey_konsenko who uploaded a video showing a dangerous action by jumping into the sea while riding a motorcycle. The video became a trending topic on social media and mainstream media on December 15, 2020.

Regarding this matter, the Immigration authorities then checked the data on the entry crossing of Russian citizen, Sergei Kosenko. According to the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in Bali, Jamaruli Manihuruk, he entered Indonesian territory on October 31, 2020 through the Soekarno Hatta Immigration Checkpoint using a Visit Visa. Meanwhile, the Residence Visit Permit is valid until December 29, 2020 and has been extended until January 28, 2021.

Meanwhile, based on immigration data, Sergei Kosenko’s address was recorded on Jalan Siligita Nusa Dua, but he admitted that he never knew and never lived at that address. Sergei Kosenko, when questioned, admitted that he was renting a private villa in the Berawa area, Canggu. He had also moved to stay in several places in Bali and Lombok, and finally stayed at the W Hotel Seminyak.

Still in the process of examining Sergei Kosenko, it is known that he made another bad manner by holding a party without paying attention to the health protocol in the Badung area and uploaded on the Instagram account @sergey_kosenko on Monday, January 11, 2021. This activity said Jamaruli had violated the prevailing laws. One of them is a Covid-19 Handling Task Force Circular Number 02 of 2021 concerning International Travel Health Protocol during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pandemic. “So it is reasonable to suspect that Sergei Kosenko has committed violations as referred to in Article 75 paragraph (1) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration,” he said during a press statement on Sunday (January 24) at the Ngurah Rai Immigration office.

Sergei Kosenko is subject to immigration administrative sanctions in the form of deportation and deterrence as regulated in Article 75 paragraph 1 and 2 of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration. The deportation will be carried out on Sunday afternoon, January 24, 2021 via I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport to Soekarno-Hatta Airport and then to his home country.
