Furthermore, dr. Sri Armini said, while waiting for the results so that the PMI did not experience psychological disorders, Denpasar City Government provides psychological services in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Warmadewa University. By providing these services, it is expected that during the quarantine period, undesirable things and psychological disorders will not occur.
Meanwhile, the Spokesperson of Denpasar City Task Force for Accelerating the Handling of Covid-19, I Dewa Gede Rai, explained that this swab test was an effort to accelerate the handling of Covid-19. In addition, by carrying out tests, the health conditions of PMI can be clearly known.
According to him, the mass swab test was important to take the next step towards the migrant workers. During the quarantine at the shelter, the health condition of the quarantined person was not yet known, so as to support the acceleration of the handling, a mass swab test was carried out in cooperation with the RSPTN of Udayana University.
He said that with this swab test, PMI status would be known more quickly whether they positive or negative of Covid-19. “Of course this activity can accelerate the handling of Covid-19 in Denpasar City, as well as providing accurate information about the health diagnosis of people who are currently undergoing quarantine,” he explained.
Furthermore, Dewa Rai asserted that the threat in accelerating the handling of Covid 19 in Denpasar was local transmission case. “The local transmission case is more difficult when tracing will be done because contact between people can be very broad and numerous, therefore it requires high awareness and discipline in implementing health protocols,” Dewa Rai said.
