Tourism, One Of The Sectors That Is Highly Considered By The Government

For handling Covid-19, the government has taken comprehensive steps. In fact, almost all sectors are handled well, as well as aid programs, and stimulus. This was emphasized by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan while attending the declaration of the Tourism Program in the what so called Bali Era Baru and QRIS-Based Tourism Digitalization held at ITDC, Nusa Dua, Thursday (July 30).
According to Luhut, tourism is one sector that is highly considered by the central government. That’s because, state revenue from the sector is very high. More than that, tourism has also created millions of jobs. Therefore, the President has repeatedly warned to handle tourism properly.
His party also said that there are two keys that must be considered, namely the handling of Covid-19 and economic management. Both according to Luhut must be run in parallel, because the correct handling of Covid-19, will certainly stimulate the economy. All countries in the world experience this problem and they will also see Indonesia in handling Covid-19.
“We did not reopen Bali carelessly. It comes from how many (people) were infected, recovered and the mortality rates. That became a reference,” he added. (MBP1)
