The development of the Covid-19 case in Denpasar tends to fluctuate after an increase of five days in a row before, this time Denpasar city did not record a new confirmed positive case, instead the good news was that 2 Covid-19 patients were confirmed recovered on Sunday (May 24).

Spokesperson of the Denpasar City
Task Force for Accelerating the handling of Covid-19, I Dewa Gede Rai, confirmed information about the recovery of 2 Covid-19 patients in Denpasar City.
“Astungkara (Thanks God) again we got good news, 2 patients recovered and there were no additions to the new positive Covid-19 case,” he explained
Based on the development of this case Dewa Rai still reminded that the Covid-19 case in Denpasar showed a fluctuating trend. In addition to positive cases, the existence of People Without Symptoms (OTG) as a result of tracing from the Covid-19 Task Force Team together with the Village / Lurah authority is still a threat of new transmission, so we need to continue to increase our vigilance.
With the existence of people with OTG, ODP and PDP status, the community must be more vigilant and comply with the directions of the government and health protocol. “By implementing this Mayor Regulation on PKM (restrictions on public activities), hopefully it can reduce the number of covid-19 case in Denpasar,” Dewa Rai said.
“Awareness and discipline of all elements of society are needed in breaking the Covid-19 chain. All regions in Bali and outside Bali have been exposed to covid-19, let’s together reduce travel or activities outside the home and direct contact with others, because we don’t know who is carrying a virus or not, that’s why it requires awareness, honesty and discipline by all parties, “Dewa Rai cautioned.
Furthermore, Dewa Rai explained, the number of cumulative Covid-19 cases in Denpasar City was 77. The details are 57 recovered, 2 people died, and 18 people are still being treated.
Until now, the cumulative results of tracing done by the task force team in Denpasar found 444 People Without Symptoms (OTG), but 124 of them were confirmed healthy after undergoing independent isolation, leaving 320 OTG cases. Accumulatively, People Under Monitoring (ODP) recorded 303 cases, but have undergone independent isolation and were declared healthy as many as 241, so that there are still 62 ODP cases remaining. And the cumulative number of Patients Under Supervision (PDP) was 58 cases, but 21 of them tested negative after undergoing the Swab Test, so there are 37 PDP cases left.
