 50.90% of The Total 222 Positive Covid-19 Patients in Bali were Confirmed Recovered

The cumulative number of Covid-19 positive cases up to Thursday, April 30, reached 222 people. According to the Secretary of the Bali Province, Dewa Made Indra, as the Daily Chair of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Covid-19 Handling, this number had an increase of 7 confirmed cases compared to the previous day.

Of the 7 new confirmed cases, as many as 4 people are imported case and 3 others are local transmission. Furthermore he said that from the 222 cumulative positive numbers of Covid-19, these consisted of 8 foreigners and 214 Indonesian citizens. “Out of these 214 Indonesian citizens, 137 of them are imported case, 134 Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) and 3 others Non-PMI, 20 people are infected from the affected area and 57 people are infected by local transmission,” he explained when giving a press statement.

Meanwhile, there are 105 patients treated, spread across 11 referral hospitals and quarantine sites managed by the Provincial Government of Bali. For the good news delivered, there were 17 patients who were recovered. Thus, the accumulative number recovered to 113 people or 50.90% of the total positive cases.

“Astungkara (thanks God) there are no reports of deaths and we hope that no more people die among our friends infected with Covid-19,” he said.  (MBP1)
