Gubernur Bali Wayan Koster menegaskan, pihaknya berkomitmen melakukan sejumlah perbaikan ekonomi Bali agar krama Bali tak lagi sekadar menjadi penonton di daerah sendiri. Maka dari itu, pihaknya telah menjalankan dan merancang program pembangunan yang tujuannya memperkuat ekonomi krama Bali, khususnya melalui desa adat.
Saat memberikan sambutan di acara pembagian sembako di Desa Adat Kedonganan, Sabtu (9/5), Koster menyatakan, pihaknya akan mewujudkan Tri Sakti Bung Karno berbasis desa adat. Pihaknya ingin mewujudkan desa adat berdikari ekonomi, dengan memberdayakan LPD serta semua potensi ekonomi di desa adat
Diharapkan ke depannya, semua pelaku ekonomi di desa adat adalah orang-orang lokal dan semua potensi digarap desa adat. “Supaya ekonomi digerakkan masyarakat Bali. Bosan jadi anak buah terus. Kita harus jadi bos. Contohlah di Kedonganan, kita harus perkuat ekonomi masyarakat Bali,” tegasnya.
Secara khusus ia mengapresiasi pola pembangunan di Desa Adat Kedonganan yang mengedepankan pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal. Kelembagaan ekonomi di desa adat ini begitu kuat, yang tercermin dari kemajuan LPD dan kafe-kafe ikan bakar yang dikelola masyarakat setempat. Ia pun menyebut, akan menjadikan pola pembangunan di Desa Adat Kedonganan sebagai model pembangunan desa adat seluruh Bali. (MBP2)
