Governor Koster: Development Of Pandawa Beach Must Apply Local Wisdom

For the first time, the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster had the opportunity to visit Pandawa Beach, Kutuh Village, South Kuta, Saturday (July 11). Koster who attended the Inauguration of the Implementation of the New Era of Life Order and Digitization of Tourism Areas on Pandawa Beach, said that the beach area has a very good place.
His party said that for the development of this region as a tourism destination, of course the provincial government and the regency government would support it as well as possible so that the region can develop well in the future. In development, he hopes to stick with applying local wisdom so that everything is well ordered.
Koster reminded the public, all must be fully aware, this is a place to conduct business activities that have provided a source of livelihood, fortune for all as a gift from the God. Therefore, don’t just have commercial purposes here. However, he warned, we must accompany with a religious ceremony activities that are in accordance with our local wisdom.
“This is a beach, so it is also very important to carry out the Yadnya ceremony which is related to Segara (beach) so that this place is truly providing welfare for the people here in terms of Niskala (seen) and Sekala (unseen),” he said.
Governor Koster hopes that the opening of the Pandawa Beach will have a positive impact on the economy of the local community. Considering there are actually many tourists who want to come to Bali. But there are still restrictions that governed by rules that do not allow travel, especially from abroad.
“I think the government will begin this stage in the coming weeks, then we hope that the first phase that we started on July 9 will run well, smoothly followed by people who behave in an orderly, disciplined manner in implementing the New Era of Life Order protocol. If this goes well, we will enter the second stage on July 31, 2020 to start with the tourism sector by opening domestic tourists, then we hope this will also work well,
all related parties must be disciplined so that we will proceed to the third stage on September 11, 2020 for tourism involving foreign tourists. And this we have prepared as well as possible through the issuance of Bali Governor Circular Number 3355 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of the New Era of Life Order in the Province of Bali,” said Koster.
Meanwhile Head of Kutuh Customary village Jro Nyoman Mesir in his speech expressed his gratitude with the visit of the Governor of Bali and the Deputy Governor of Bali which he said was the first time a Governor and Deputy Governor of Bali came to Pandawa Beach since it opened in 2012 ago.
“With a visit from the Governor, hopefully the Pandawa Beach will become the best tourist destination in the world. The Pandawa Beach area is the original creation of the village community together with the Penglingsir (respected elders) and community leaders in Kutuh,” he said.
For that, he hopes the Governor of Bali can continue to provide support so that the Pandawa Beach attraction can continue to be organized and developed to be even better. (MBP1)
