Longsor Akibatkan Dua Pohon Tumbang, Jalur Denpasar-Singaraja Sempat Macet Total

Jalur lalu lintas Denpasar-Singaraja di Desa Gitgit dan Desa Wanagiri, Kecamatan Sukasada, Buleleng, Kamis (25/3/2021) sempat macet total beberapa jam. Kondisi ini diakibatkan adanya tanah longsor yang mengakibatkan dua pohon berukuran besar tumbang dan melintang di jalan.
Longsor ini terjadi akibat hujan deras yang mengguyur wilayah tersebut pukul 13.00 wita. Beruntung tidak ada korban jiwa dalam kejadian tersebut. Namun, dari pantauan di lokasi, sejumlah kendaraan roda empat maupun roda dua berhenti sementara dan terlihat kemacetan cukup panjang, sambil menunggu evakuasi pohon tumbang.
Untuk melakukan membersihkan akses jalan, sebanyak 12 personil TRC Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Buleleng, langsung melakukan penanganan di lokasi untuk mengevakuasi dua pohon tumbang dan membersihkan sisa-sisa material longsor. Untuk mempercepat proses evakuasi, petugas dari Balai Jalan dan anggota TNI-Polri ikut turun tangan.
Menurut Kepala Pelaksana BPBD Buleleng, Putu Ariadi Pribadi, pohon tumbang disertai tanah longsor ini terjadi di jalur utama Denpasar-Singaraja di kawasan Desa Wanagiri, akibat hujan deras, ditambah kondisi tanah yang labil. Diakuinya, selama penanganan, sempat terjadi kemacetan total sekitar 1 jam lebih. Akibat ukuran batang pohon yang besar, pemotongan sempat berlangsung cukup lama. “Saat ini, arus lalu lintas di sana sudah kembali normal, walaupun, sempat terjadi macet,” katanya.
Karena di sepanjang jalur tersebut merupakan kawasan perbukitan yang rawan longsor dan pohon tumbang, pihaknya mengimbau agar masyarakat yang melintasi untuk tetap berhati-hati. (MBP)
