Pujawali Pura Uluwatu, Pemedek Kembali Diingatkan Tidak Membawa Kantong Plastik

Selama pujawali Pujawali di Pura Luhur Uluwatu berlangsung, seluruh pemedek diharapkan untuk tidak membawa kantong plastik. Baik untuk nunas tirta atau untuk membawa sarana persembahyangan. Hal itu ditegaskan oleh Bendesa Adat Pecatu, I Made Sumerta, ditemui saat prosesi puncak Pujawali, Selasa (13/8/2019).
Pihaknya mengatakan, sejumlah pecalang siap untuk menertibkan dan meminta pemedek untuk meninggalkan kantong plastiknya apabila kedapatan membawa sarana upacara dengan kantong plastik. Dikatakannya, terkait dengan pujawali di Pura Uluwatu, setiap enam bulan sekali terus dilakukan evaluasi. Untuk evaluasi kegiatan enam bulan lalu, salah satu yaitu ditegaskan tidak disiapkan lagi kantong plastik untuk nunas tirta.
Kemudian, selain itu, juga diharapkan tidak memakai kantong plastik untuk membawa sarana upacara. Hal ini juga sudah terus diimbau, namun dari pantauan, seperti yang terlihat di area dalam pintu masuk menuju kawasan Pura, beberapa pemedek kedapatan masih membawa sarana upacara dengan kantong plastik. Untuk mengingatkan kembali, mereka diminta untuk melepaskan kantong plastiknya.”Pelaksana tugas maupun pecalang juga terus memberikan penyadaran kepada pemedek yang tangkil saat pujawali agar tidak membawa kantong plastik,” pungkasya.
Penerapan tersebut juga untuk menindaklanjuti Pergub dan Perbup terkait pengurangan kantong plastik. Ini kata dia, diberlakukan tidak hanya di kawasan pura, namun juga di luar kawasan pura. Karena menuruntya, untuk konsep clean dan green itu terkandung di dalamnya. Terutama clean itu menyangkut sampah plastik. “Wisatawan kuran respek terhadap sampah plastik ini. Sedangkan, wisatawan sudah banyak yang mengerti terkait itu,” ucapnya. (Praw1)
