One patient named MD who was treated at the Rose Room at Sanglah Hospital received a surprise from a nurse on Saturday (May 9). On that day the patient celebrated her 23rd birthday.
Previously, after knowing the patient’s birthday, spontaneously the Rose Room nurse collected money to buy a birthday cake as a surprise for the patient’s birthday celebration.

“After knowing her date of birth, we are joint venture and take the initiative to give a surprise cake for a patient who have birthday. Unbeknownst to her, we brought the cake to the treatment room and celebrated her birthday together with several nurses and other patients,” Eta, a nurse from the Rose Room, said on Monday (May 11).
Eta said that this could be a special birthday for MD, because she had never imagined before, this year she had to celebrate her birthday amid the pandemic and was treated in isolation room.
On this occasion, MD said that she was very touched and happy. Despite being treated for Covid-19, she received special treatment on a special day. “I’m very happy. I didn’t expect the nurse here to give me a surprise on my birthday. They are not only good at treating but also make us happy.
